Invisible Guides is a user-created city-guide site dedicated to connecting and creating community across the US through stories about the cities we love. We are less about restaurant reviews, and more like love letters to the greasy spoon your dad used to take you as a kid, the pigeon-ridden brick-paved park where the stray collie dog hangs out, the pebble beach full of equal parts New York tourists and college hippies- love letters to your city. Each city has a personality constructed of diverse perspectives and countless stories- personality described by the people who live it and make each city unique.

It is these unique personalities and scenes that make a city great. Scenes like kids’ writing workshops in re-vamped mill buildings, arts initiatives that perform in church-turned-stage, and the hundreds of spaces, collectives, and creations that flourish across the country. These groups flourish as long as they have the cash to support these evolving ideas and we know about them. Invisible Guides is about turning your writing action into profit for non-profits. As a social entrepreneurial organization, a certain percentage of our profits will go to the continuing creativity of cities.
